Hi!
This week’s post is really just a quick one to say “Hang in There”, and that we’re thinking of all of our quilting friends around the world in these crazy and trying times. More than anything, we hope you are staying safe and well, and that if you’re in isolation now, that you’re finding plenty of things to keep you busy and happy.
We’re in Australia, and we have just started our more serious restrictions. Whilst the idea of some enforced time at home has me picturing days spent peacefully sewing like the lady above, with the kids now home from school and being homeschooled via online classes from school, I can see my days unfolding more like this :
There may be a bunch of crazy quilts coming from here when this is all over!!
Our next magazine is not far away, and there’s some fun new patterns for you to try, and I’m also adding a couple of scrappy projects that we’ve had before too, so you won’t need to worry about finding more fabric to get stuck into some new quilt projects, if you find yourself at home for some time.
Raid your stash (and then maybe tidy your sewing room??), and you’ll be all set to go when the magazine comes out.
Stay well, stay safe, and we hope you can use your time to make some great quilts (and finish those UFO’s)!
